Local consultancy companies will be trained for 4 days, from 28th November to 2nd December.

Vietnam needs to pay more to incentivize biomass power
(11:46:15 AM 15/04/2014)Power from biomass is both economical and environmentally beneficial, but Vietnam is using little of its potential in this area since most investors are waiting for pricing support from the government. Bagasse, the waste from sugarcane after making sugar, is used to generate 100 million kWh a year, while it could make ten times that since sugar mills produce 4.5 million tons of bagasse a year, enough to produce 1.2-1.4 billion kWh, according to a Tuoi Tre newspaper report.
