GERMANY SUPPORTS VIET NAM TO LAUNCH THE HANDBOOK ON WIND POWER INVESTMENT GUIDELINES

The workshop falls under the framework of the German Technical Development Cooperation project ”Support to the Up-scaling of Wind Power” (DKTI Wind Project) which aims to assist Vietnamese Government to develop wind power market through three major action areas i) Legal and Regulatory Framework, ii) Capacity Development, and iii) Technology Cooperation. The project with a total budget of EUR 6.900.000 (from 2014 to 2018) is commissioned by the Federal Ministry of Economic Development and Cooperation (BMZ) under the German Climate Technology Initiative (DKTI).

HCM City invests $1.14 billion in flood prevention
(Tinmoitruong.vn) - In the past 10 years, HCM City has invested about VND24.3 trillion (more than $1.14 billion) in flood prevention projects. However, just 1.2% of the total workload of these plans have been completed so their effectiveness is beyond expectation.
