First Siemens 1.5T MAGNETOM ESSENZA MRI with Tim+Dot technology installed at Vietlife MRI Tran Binh Trong

(11:41:39 AM 20/03/2014)
( - Vietlife MRI Tran Binh Trong is the first private clinic in Vietnam be equipped with Siemens 1.5T MAGNETOM ESSENZA Tim+Dot technology. It is by far the most user-friendly, clinically versatile and economically attractive scanner on the market.

MAGNETOM ESSENZA, refreshed in 2012 with Siemens’ Tim+Dot technology, has already been adopted by more than 1400 customers over the world and helps optimize patient throughput using a complete range of clinical applications from head to toe. In addition, MAGNETOM ESSENZA with Tim+ Dot is a highly attractive scanner from an investor’s point-of-view as it manages to keep total cost of ownership (TCO) to a minimum and keep uptime in the highest bracket of the market (95-100%).

MAGNETOM ESSENZA delivers best-in-class imaging over the whole spectrum of MRI imaging including neurology, orthopedics, spine, abdomen, cardiology, angiography, women’s health and pediatrics.

With Tim (Total Imaging Matrix), Siemens has set the standard in MRI providing excellent imaging quality, shorter exam time and higher SNR (Signal Noise Ratio). With Dot - the latest addition to Siemens MRI – Siemens makes 1.5T MRI even more efficient and easy-to-use, allowing the radiographer to personalize and automate exams according to each patient’s specific needs. The system keeps installation requirements to the lowest levels on the market with short system design and low operating costs via minimal power consumption as well as Siemens’ unique zero boil off technology.

“We are very excited to be the first one in Vietnam that applies the MAGNETOM ESSENZA Tim+Dot technology at our clinic. We believe that this system will offer our doctors the widest ranges of imaging capabilities, and at the same time being able to tailor our services to patients’ diverse requirements”, said Dr. Nguyen Anh Van, Director of Cam Ha JSC.

“The MAGNETOM ESSENZA MRI system allows hospitals and clinics to deliver high quality examinations with high efficiency. This is probably the best value-for-money 1.5T MRI system ever produced, thanks to all the engineering efforts that were put in designing a product that has both minimal running costs and that is capable of reaching the optimal throughput of clinical exams per day. This system, therefore, is a particularly good match for hospitals and clinics requiring a heavy exam volume with needs spanning all areas of MR imaging ,” said Dr. Pham Thai Lai, President and CEO of Siemens Vietnam.

Being invested by Cam Ha JSC, this system was inaugurated at a ceremony on March 15th, 2014 at 14 Tran Binh Trong St in Hanoi. With this latest technology in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Vietlife Clinic is on its way to become a country benchmark in high-quality and high-efficiency imaging diagnostics.
