"Prodigy" Do Nhat Nam wins first prize at presentation contest in the US

Nam, 14, went to the US last September to study at St. Paul Apostle in Texas.
On February 10, Nam’s mother – Phan Ho Diep – told reporters that her son had won thefirst prize for the presentation competition for the entire general schools in the city of Dallas, after many challenging rounds. He got full marks from all eight judges.

Nam told his mother that in the moment of glory, he thought of his parents in Vietnam. "When I received the cup, I looked down and I imagined that you (his parents) were sitting right there, smiling with me," he told his mother.
Nam’s presentation was about “smile”.
Not long ago, Nam ranked first in his school’s maths team with 169/200 mark, 20 points higher than the second student. His study results at the school were very good, with 99/100 points for two semesters.
