Three famous overseas Vietnamese makeup artists
(13:37:39 PM 12/10/2014)Mai Quynh, Michelle Phan and Hung Vanngo are three Vietnamese makeup artists that have the hands that wield the brushes to make the stars look even better than perfect.
Mai Quynh
Mai Quynh was born and grew up in Los Angeles, California. She is the youngest child in a Vietnamese family, which immigrated to the US from Ho Chi Minh City (also known as Saigon).

She has an extremely active imagination, which she translates into her creative juices and has done the faces of many Hollywood stars, such as Scarlett Johansson, Ashley Greene, Emma Stone, and Amber Heard.
Hung Vanngo
Hung Vanngo left Vietnam for Canada when he was just 11 years old. Hung set up his shop in Toronto and gained success in the US thanks to his contributions to catwalk and advertisement shows. His works have been featured in many prestigious fashion magazines including Elle and GQ.

Hung Vanngo has touched up the faces of many celebrities including Miranda Kerr, Nelly Furtado, Renée Zellweger, and Rosario Dawson.
Michelle Phan
Michelle Phan, also known as Tuyet Bang in Vietnamese, was born in 1987 in Boston, Massachusetts and graduated from Ringling College of Art and Design. Michelle Phan is famous for the makeup tips she has posted on YouTube.

Michelle Phan has published 300 makeup tip videos, attracting millions of followers. She has also launched her own cosmetic brand name “EM”.
