Green growth challenges
The Green growth can only become a lifestyle and a popular production style when all levels of the governmental agencies and enterprises have full awareness of the green growth basis then they can change the production methods, save and utilize effectively natural resources, minimize environmental pollution and greenhouse gases emissions.
According to Dr. Dang Duy Thinh - Former Deputy Director of the National Institute of Science and Technology Policy (NISTEP), the green growth orientation of Vietnam needs to be implemented at the soonest. It will not only relate to greening in production but also effect on Vietnamese awareness and greening in their living and consumption style. However, the Green growth implementation should also be in accordance with every national development period.
The Green growth enhancement requires huge cost and with Vietnam's economy at the present, the country needs to restructure its economy. This process will slow down the growth rate in short term then affect employment and income of labors. Vietnam is still a developing country with its low personal income and high pressure to accelerate the economic development to eliminate poverty and catch up developed countries. Therefore, Vietnam needs a harmonic orientation; otherwise, it will have to suffer from the consequences by this changing.
To pursuing the green growth model, Vietnam needs appropriate policies and mechanisms based on reviewing existing policies, laws and regulations related to mobilization of financial resources to develop sectors, especially these closed to green growth. In addition, Vietnam should learn experience from other successful countries in the green growth investment such as Korea, Indonesia, China, Bangladesh... then applying it to Vietnam situation.

Vietnam also needs to accelerate the economic restructure attached with the growth model innovation; to improve working productivity and the economy's competitiveness; to improve investment environment, solve difficulties for enterprise; to handle unplayable debt... In addition, the national action plan on green growth should be issued at the soonest, and the national energy budget also needs to be established.
According to the scientists, it is necessary to develop solutions to enhance investment on industry that serving for agriculture, to develop modern rural areas with green and sustainable economy. This way can improve basic services and infrastructure. Therefore the orientation of green economic growth can be considered as one of best solutions to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty and improve the living standard.
