Vietnam attends the World Nuclear Exhibition

(Tinmoitruong.vn) - From 14th to 16th October, along with 495 leading international corporations and companies in the field of nuclear energy and nuclear power from 24 countries, the Vietnam’s delegation of leaders and experts of many ministries and branches including Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Health, Vietnam Agency for Radiation and Nuclear Safety (Ministry of Science and Technology)... came to Paris (France) for the World Nuclear Exhibition (WNE). This is the first time an exhibition in the civil nuclear field has been organized in the form of an international fair.

According to Mr. Bui Cach Tuyen, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, for additional power supply to meet the needs of the country’s development, Vietnam has obtained an undertaking to research and produce nuclear power. In particular, the issue of safety and effectiveness is placed on top priority. In addition, Vietnam also concerns about environmental issues, radioactive waste treatment and recycling of materials, which have been used and put into operation in a nuclear power plant.

Attending the exhibition, the delegation would survey, collect information on the advanced and safe technology of France, U.S.A, UK, Russia, Japan, China, Germany, Finland, Spain... to propose the technology, which is suitable for Vietnam.

Airbus and Indonesia partner on aviation environmental programme

(Tinmoitruong.vn) - Airbus and the Indonesian Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) have launched a long-term partnership to reduce the impact of aviation on the environment. The agreement was signed during the ICAO World Aviation Forum on Aviation Partnerships for Sustainable Development in Montreal Canada. This programme will cover a tailored offering of services and expertise.
