Suspension bridge breaks, dozens of people fall into flood water

Many motorcycles are stuck under the bridge.
The incident was reported at 6am on June 11 on the suspension bridge spanning the stream of Tac in Phu Tuong commune, Phu Yen district of Son La province.
Hearing cries and shouts, local people quickly jumped into the stream to pick up victims and take them to the Phu Yen hospital. Thirteen people were injured due to being hit in the head by springboards, including three who were seriously injured. Eleven motorcycles and two bikes were completely damaged.
The bridge is over 83 m long, with bamboo floor. The bridge was undergoing repair when the accident occurred. The bridge was not yet opened for traffic, but due to heavy rains, causing floods in the stream, many people still used it, making the overload.
The local government is calculating losses caused by the incident to help victims.

Airbus and Indonesia partner on aviation environmental programme
(Tinmoitruong.vn) - Airbus and the Indonesian Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) have launched a long-term partnership to reduce the impact of aviation on the environment. The agreement was signed during the ICAO World Aviation Forum on Aviation Partnerships for Sustainable Development in Montreal Canada. This programme will cover a tailored offering of services and expertise.
