Increase fining power in land sector

(Tinmoitruong.vn) - The Government has issued the Decision 102/2014/NĐ-CP on fining the administrative violations in the land sector. In addition to increasing penalty levels, the Decision promulgates specifically the fining power of the governmental authorities.

Accordingly, the Chairman of People’s Committee of Districts can issue a fining decision of up to VND 50 million, in steads of VND 30 million as previous defined; Chief Inspector of Departments, Chief of specialized inspection delegation established by General Director of General Department of Land Administration, Director of Departments, Chief Inspector of Departments of Natural Resources and Environment, can issue a fining decision of up to VND 50 million; Ministerial Chief of Inspector can issue a penalty of up to VND 250 million.

According to this new regulation, the maximum fining level in land sector can be up to VND 1 billion.
