(15:48:26 PM 17/07/2015)
In recent days, fires have occurred at different places in and around the house which belongs to Mr. Nguyen Hong Huong. Up to seven fires were recorded in a single day, frightening the family. They have reported the phenomenon to local authorities.
The phenomenon began on June 23. By July 2 up to 38 fires were recorded. Huong said the family has lived there for 39 years, and this was the first time such a phenomenon occurred. Fires broke out at places where clothes were hanging on a hook or hanging in the closet, and also near a blender, plastic rack, sacks, brooms, mops ...
The fires are far from flammable sources such as the electric stove, the gas stove and electric sockets and when the fires were detected, there was nobody at the point of the fires.
Mr. Bui Dinh Thi, Chair of Tam Nong District, said the district sent investigators to Huong’s house to collect evidence. However, the cause has not been identified. Investigators arranged anti-fire equipment at the house.
Tam Nong district reported the case to higher authorities. Phu Tho province has directed the provincial police, and the Department of Science and Technology to collaborate with the Criminal Science Institute of the Ministry of Public Security to quickly investigate the cause of the fires.
Thi said the local authorities told local people to be aware of superstitious rumors about the case.
