First Book Day launched to promote reading habit

(Tinmoitruong.vn) - The Viet Nam Book Day will be organized for the first time throughout the country on April 21, with many organizations and businesses expected to join in activities promoting the habit of reading.

The Book Day, approved by PM Nguyen Tan Dung, aims to encourage and promote reading in the community and raise public awareness of the significance of reading books in order to improve their knowledge and skills.

 

In Ha Noi, the activities on April 21 will include a book exhibition, an exchange between writers and readers, and a book fair.

Book Street and Book Week events will be organized in the central cities and provinces, where seminars on books, exchanges between writers and readers and a book auction will be held.
