Brilliant colors of flowers on the Rock Plateau of Ha Giang Tin ảnh

(Tinmoitruong.vn) - Marigolds, amaranth flowers and annual hibiscus are blossoming on the rocky plateau this season, awakening the hidden beauty of Ha Giang.

Ha Giang is the highest province in the north of Vietnam. It shares a border with China in the north (274km boundary). Located at the highest latitude in Vietnam, Ha Giang offers wonderful mountain routes for touring.

Ha Giang’s complicated topography is divided into three areas. The southern area has rocky mountains and rivers. The west area has sloping mountains, high passes, valleys, and narrow springs. The lowland area includes hills, valley of the Lo River, and Ha Giang City.

Mountains in Ha Giang are high, with the highest Tay Con Linh point, 2.419m high. There are good woods, over 1,000 kinds of valuable medicinal plants, and animals (tigers, peacocks, phoenix…) in primitive forests.

Coming to Ha Giang, tourists are attracted by the imposing Dong Van Rock Plateau, Me-Pi-Leng pass, Love Market of Khau Vai and colorful culture of the local hill tribes. They can buy embroidery such as handkerchief, haversack and dresses with colorful, fine patterns. They also can take part in the market-day of local ethnic people. The people and natural scenes here are unlike anywhere in Vietnam.
