The working team gathers leading experts in climate change and is divided into groups of policy, investment, and capacity and knowledge development, he said.

The post-2015 SP-RCC will focus on actions to mitigate the climate change impact; increasing mobilisation and distribution of financial resources; enhancing the quality of policy dialogues and encouraging cooperation in the field.

The programme is intended to build mechanisms for reporting and monitoring the progress of implementing the public-private partnership while stimulating renovation, enhancing capacity, and promoting inter-sectoral and inter-regional coordination, Ha said.

He reported that the SP-RCC for the 2009-2015 period has received warm response from 10 ministries, sectors and localities together with financial support from the international community and development partners such as the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the French Development Agency (AFD), and the World Bank (WB).

So far the programme has concentrated on building and amending normative legal documents in the direction of integrating climate change adaptation and green growth.
