Lawmakers approve ordinance on environment police

The draft ordinance, proposed by the NA Committee for National Defence and Security, stipulates that the environment police are responsible for preventing and combating any environmental violations.
The lawmakers also approved the 2015 programme on international cooperation and external affairs of the National Assembly offices and agencies.
The two-day sitting reviewed the outcomes of the eighth session of the 13 th legislature and gathered opinions on the working agenda for the next meeting.
Participants discussed the draft revised Law on State Audit, Law on Vietnam Fatherland Front, and Civil Code.
The deputies agreed on the contents of the ninth session of the 13 th legislature, which is expected to take more than 28 days and discuss 11 draft laws and one draft resolution.

German Government continues to support MRC for sustainable development of the Lower Mekong Basin
